The dry bag is outfitted with shoulder straps so that it can be used as a “summit” pack. It is also designed to be strapped to the back of a backpack and with that in mind, there is also a paddle blade slot on the bottom of the bag so that the blade can be slid in from the top when it is strapped to backpack. Similar to the Alpacka Hybrid bow bag there is a waterproof liner inside the bow bag which is not waterproof and has a mesh bottom. The main bow bag stores and protects the dry bag liner from abrasions and stores gear that can get wet (water bottles, pogies, etc.).
